Here in Junior 1, we have a lot of new pupils starting their journey here at Willowbridge. The staff are brilliant at helping the new pupils to settle in.
We consider how each pupil is an individual and therefore their targets need to reflect that. In Junior 1 we use a lot of visual aids to help with our day, these include picture schedules, PECS for requesting food and other items and super symbols.
In Junior 1 we have lots of fun. We enjoy a play-based curriculum. Our favourite activities are, messy play, playing outdoors and soft play. We also avail of the forest school area, the sensory room, and the sensory garden.
