MSC is a class made up of 7 pupils aged 5-11.
In our class we follow a Multi- Sensory Curriculum. Each pupil experiences an interactive curriculum through activities such as Messy Maths, Attention Autism, Sensory Stories, Sensory Art, Touch and Communication and Sensology that is adapted to their needs.
We are very lucky to have frequent access to wonderful facilities in our school such as Soft Play, the Sensory Room, Hydro Pool and our Forest School.
We use a thematic approach in our learning to help us explore about the World Around Us. This filters into all aspects of our learning such as Literacy, Numeracy, Art and Music.
Communication is very important within our room. Staff are all trained in Intensive Interaction, we use assistive technology, objects of reference and photograph communication to express ourselves and map out our day.
We keep in daily contact with home to keep our parents up to date with our new achievements and experiences through the Class Dojo app.
