1McC - Ms McCann
In 1McC we enjoy a play-based curriculum. We avail of all the different areas within school such as the sensory garden, the forest school area, sensory rooms and the pupils favourite the soft play space.
We consider how each pupil is an individual and therefore their targets need to reflect that. In 1 McC we use a lot of visual aids to help with our day, these include picture schedules, PECS for requesting, objects of reference and super symbols. We believe in creating activities that engage and motivate the children in their learning.
