2McC is a Key Stage 2 class consisting of 3 girls and 6 boys. We are a P5 group who take a thematic approach to learning which includes engaging sensory activities. We follow the NI Curriculum during whole class lessons, small group activities and 1:1 work. All pupils have personal learning plans which allows them to achieve their targets at an appropriate pace. Some of our favourite activities include soft play, Attention Autism, Jo Jingles, Forest School and cookery.
Our class aim is to encourage and develop communication skills while promoting independence across all areas. We support communication using visuals, PECS, AAC apps and Makaton. 2McC are enthusiastic and hard-working pupils who love to have fun as we learn.
