Willowbridge School

On Tuesday 30th January pupils and parents from Willowbridge were kindly invited to South West College for our very own Open Day where we met a number of key staff who took us through a number of courses that our pupils can access when they leave school.  Our Transition programme always starts early and is very inclusive, so we make sure that we invite as many as possible to the event, and this was evident by the huge turnout. Mrs Winnie Boylan, Mr John Moore, Mrs Sharon Pritchard and Mrs Nichola Melanophy were among the staff on hand to take everyone through everything from course applications and content as well as finances, transport and college life.  Our EA Transitions Officer Heather Russell was also present as well as Mr Neil McConell and Mrs Finessa Wallace, the school Transitions officer, to answer any questions.  As ever, we also invited young people and their families from other schools who feel they may have similar questions, and the best part of the day was meeting past pupils who have made the move and are obviously very happy.  A huge thank you to the college for a very successful Open Day.
