This year for our annual sports day we went with an Olympic theme and entitled our sports day the Willowbridge World Games. The children made flags and bunting from their chosen country, and they dressed in the colours of the flag on the day. This made for a very colourful and vibrant sports day, which was added to by the exceptional weather we had over both days. The Junior Willowbridge World Games took place on Thursday the 8th of May followed by the Senior Willowbridge World Games on the 9th . There was plenty of fun as the students navigated a range of stations, which had sensory games, throwing, catching and shooting activities involved. It was a pleasure to see the smiling faces and level of engagement with all of our students across the course of the two days. So, as the sun sets on the Willowbridge World Games 2025, we look forward to seeing the children continuing with their sporting engagement in their weekly PE lessons, as we move towards the end of this academic year.
